Subject: Anybody want an installers guide? IP: Logged
Message: I work in a printing co. & we printed some books for the Consumer Electronics Assn. It's basically a study guide for someone who is going to take the test to become a certified stereo installer. The book is 226 pgs and touches on alot of topics related to car audio, alarm, and navigation system installations. I'm not looking to make any $$$ off of these, I just ask that you pay postage, maybe a few bucks. Email me at jeffwatson@webtv.net if you want one. I have 6, first come, first served. These books were rejects because of scratches on the covers & other minor defects.

It sounds like the wire harness it comes with will power it by itself. The adapter should just plug in. The black wire is ground. Red wire is power, connect to the red wire behind your stereo or run directly to the battery. IF you do this add a Fuse in-line. The yellow wire should be the speaker connection and green is the remote turn-on, which will turn the amp/sub on and off with the stereo/car. This remote-turnon will connect to a blue wire or blue/whte stripe.
This should be correct from what youve said, but ive never installed a basstube so im not sure. You could try calling the company and asking for a copy of the install wiring instructions. It might cost ya a couple bucks.
