Ry,
The best approach would be to wire the subs in parallel. Sub1+ to sub2+ and sub1- to sub2-. This will yield a 4 ohm load and that will please just about any decent amp on the market. Just make sure you buy an amp that will allow you to bridge its outputs to push a 4ohm mono load. Better yet, get a JL Audio 250/1 monoblock amp-250 watts of power into any load from 1.5 to 4 ohms. So, definately parallel the subs.

Heres what you do.
Drop the subs down to 4 ohms and run then parallel and bridged your amp. When you do that it will drop your amp to 2 ohm mono.
If their single voice coils then all you can do is bridge them to your amp and then it will be just 4 ohm series. if their dvc then run on one sub positive to positive and a negative to negative and come off with one positive and negative . do the same on the other sub and tie the wires you came off with together and bridge your amp

Those old Kickers C10 are single ohm voice coils so the JL CSM is right. Parallel + to + (and - to -) will give a 4ohm load which most amps will be happy to push when bridged mono.

Be careful, many amps are not 2ohm (or less) stable, and will fry if pushed with so little resistance. I had a friend who though his speakers were great because they kept frying his amps.....that should never happen. If wired correctly it should work great for a long time!
