Ok, how do i install a component system? I am not good with wiring things so if you could please spell it out in baby steps. I would like to have it all look stock when Im done. Where can I put the crossovers? Will it go behind the rear panel? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

The two problems with component speakers are where do you put the crossovers and tweeters. Well I wouldn't put them in the door but you can. Moisture, rattles and placement are a few problems with crossovers in the door. You should be able to find a place for them in rear or under the dash. You may even be able to tuck them behind your kick panel up front, or in the factory tool tray in the back.

I put my x overs in the doors. I just put some 2 sided foam tape on and stuck it right on the inside. Not the best place, but it hides em well. As for the tweeters i mounted them up by the side view mirrors. Wiring them is easy. Just follow the instructions and u wont go wrong. You will take the exiting wires from the existing speakers and put them to the input of the x over. Then wire the mid and tweeter from the x over. Not a hard install at all.

good luck!

If you need more help or pics, just ask.
