Subject: Mounting Amps on back wall of CC IP: Logged
Message: Alright, I know I've seen it on here before but I can't find it now. I have a CC Dak with a Tform and I'm wanting to mount my amps on the back wall of the cab. I've seen a pic (or a link to a pic) of someone that did this with PPI amps and they mounted them on the plastic piece on the back wall. If anyone knows of this install or could give me some insight on it would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks

Message: GstRdr1, I have a '01 CC and have my JVC amp pushing my MTX Thunderform box. The amp has a neon blue light in it, seeing that, I wanted to mount it on the back wall (centered to be scene when looking through the front). Granted it doesn't look, "top of the line", but it suits me just fine. The amp is anchored down, at the corners, with either 4 bolts or screws that go through the cusion and plastic back. By the way, the straps that are there for a baby's seat, they were shoved behind the plastic (since I foresee them NEVER being used...lol!!). Hope all goes well!!
