But I'm satisfied with the sound of the O.E. AM/FM cassete in my 98, but recently noticed no sound at all from the L.F. speaker. Is there an easy way to determine if it's the speaker or dash unit without tearing apart/substituting parts ? Thanks for any advice.

just pull the panel off and take the speaker out. it doesnt take much to pull the panel off
