 Subject: what would fit under my back seat?

ok i have a 07 dodge dakota. a friend of mine told me i don't have enough clearance for any kind of subs. but then i got to looking at the sony xplod slim series subs. they are only 2 7/8" thick and i was wanting to put 2 10s in my truck and an amplifier. i guess i'm wanting to know if this will fit under my seat and am i going to have enough clearance for everything to fit and sound good? and does this even sound like a good idea? i'm open for any suggestions anyone may have.

Im in the same situation i want to keep my back seats down but i want a lil something get a better sound than what the stock crap is giving me

BOSS 10" slim sub (amplified) fits nicely under my pass seat and sounds awesome with my polk separates in the front doors..
