Where could I find and remove the irritating blinging sound when the keys are in the ignition and the driver door is left open?

just look for the sensor either on the edge of the front fender or in the door, if its in the fender you should be able to unscrew it and look at the color of the wires going to it. should be black and yellow. then just follow the wire out of the rubber accordian into teh cab and put quick disconnect connectors on it, that way once you are done doing what you have to do you can reconnect it. trust me after a while of not having it you'll start to forget to turn off your lights and even leave your keys in the ignition.

it's under the dash at the bottom in my 98.
