Subject: New Deck. Speakers are Quiet.

Okay I installed a Pioneer 12 Shallow sub in my 01' Club Cab. Bought a wire harness off of Ebay with the install kit and everything went smooth. The sub is really damn loud but I literally crank the volume up and the speakers are no where near as loud as before. Infinity speakers with factory amp. The wire harness I bought is color coded with my deck, but it also converts to RCA's for a fast install. The RCA's are really nice but do you think using the RCA's into the deck instead of connecting the colored speaker wires would make my sub really loud and not my speakers?

If you change it to speaker level input to the Infinity amp the volume shoud return to normal. The RCA conversion doesn't have the right voltage for the high level inputs on the amp. If you used RCA inputs to the sub amp, obviously leave it as is.
