Just installed a JVC head unit into somebody elses truck. He had a JVC prior and it was basically just plug-and-play, except for running a few extra wires. He wanted a blue-tooth unit so I had to run a mic and it also had a usb cable that I was able to put in his ash tray.
Moral of the story, if you have an after market stereo already and want to switch it out for newer model with more bell and whistles stick to the same brand.
It was so easy it brought a tear to my eye.
