 Subject: 10" sub in tool tray

Has anyone removed the inner lining of the tool tray behind the driver's seat, it looks like it has clips that are holding the bin in the plastic base. Is this the case, or do I have to cut out the bin and then replace it with the sub box. I would like to keep the tool tray in good shape for when I go to sell it in the future. Any ideas would be appreciated.
BTW - I have a 10" Bazooka sub with the CHIL plug that really kicked in my old S-10, so I want to use it again in the Dak.
