Subject: Rear Fill?????? IP: Logged
Message: I am having a debate with which 6 1/2's I should go with, but first let me tell you what I have to put what my needs are in prospective. I have a 98 dakota CC 3.9. Front Speakers are 6 1/2 Component MB Quarts PSC 216. Rear Speakers are 6 1/2 Eclipse Coaxials (They are about 2 1/2 years old and they are starting to not sound as good and the have trouble keeping up to par with the rest of my system). Subs- Two Rockford Fosgate 10's HE 2'- my own custom sealed box. Amps-- One MTX 2200- pushing the subs at about 400 watts. ( Need new sub amp, need at least 1000 watts). Second amp is a four channel amp. Rockford Fosgate 400.4a that is 4 x 100 watts- this runs the front and rears. Power-- 1 fared capacitor, 4 gauge power wire. Head Unit-- Pioneer DEH 445--3-4 years old-- need new one also. Anyways that is my system but I also need to know what you think about some rear speakers. I need some more rear fill and I really would like some 6 1/2's that could hit the mid's really well and leave out the extreme high's. I have thought about mid-bass 6 1/2's, but have not heard them and do not know how good they would sound. Also what do you think about the Infinity 62.3i's, MB Quart RKC 116,or Focal 6W midbass. Any info-- thanks I appreciate it.
