I installed a 250x2W Amp and 2 10" subs in my 99 clubcab Dak. I had everything working just fine and like an idiot, left it running while I ran the wires. I unhooked the Remote wire from the amp and left it attached to the head unit. While running it under the carpet, it touched the metal of the truck. Instantly my interior lights went out, and my radio quit working. And when I shut my engine off, the trip resets. Everything works fine except the interior lights, the radio, and the trip. I'm assuming the memory in the radio would get erased as well...

I checked the fuses, everything seems fine there.

What could I have fried? Any suggestions on what to check and how to check it?

There may be a fuse under the hood in the power distribution center for the dome lamps and radio constant 12 volt circuit. Check to see if that fuse or any of the other fuses is blown. Check the fuses in the fuse panel inside the cab too.

Hope this helps.

Jimmy
