 Subject: need new speaker help

it finaly happened i blew my rear cpeaker in my club cab. what r some good speakers i can get without breaking the bank. also what isbetter 3-way or 2-way. which sounds better/should i get. I am on a budget so any advice will help.

if your getting new speakers go with new ones all around. get infinity reference or kappa component speakers for up front, these come with tweeters seperate so you can position tham wherever you want, and go with 3-ways in the rear.

3 way will give you a cleaner sound,and override any speaker pop.if you are amped up,then I would recommend a good set of MB quart components.depending on your budget

I have a set of Alpines and Pioneers. No kidding, the Pioneers are much better, and less than half the price. IF you would like to save space and effort, try the Pioneer 4 ways, which are all one unit. I got a pair for $80 about 3 years ago.....its probably very cheap now. (I paid $175 for those darn Alpines....)
