does anyone know if you can stick 5x7's in the rear of a CC. i pretty sure that it can be done but i'm sort of hesitant to cut in the walls. Let me know if anyone has tried this or at least has an idea of how to aproach this.

Why bother with rear speakers... you putting in Dobly surround sound?
CDs (and MP3s) are recorded is stereo - that's left and right... nothing more. Drop some nice components speakers (6 1/2" mid and seperate tweeters with crossovers) in your front doors. It will sound better. If you need some more bottom end (bass) add a single 8" sub.

i have components to drop in the front but i also have a sset of 5x7s from my old truck. i really don't want to waste them so i was thinking of trying to install them. i just want to know if i could install them in the cab with out any modifications.
