Subject: How Much Power? IP: Logged
Message: I am currently shopping for an amplifier. I am looking for a two-channel amp that will be able to power a pair of 10" subs (right now I have a cheap pair of subs but will get better subs when money allows).
How much power will I need?

Message: 200-750 watts, as much as you can afford. So get a two channel amp that is 75x2 at least, or a mono amp that puts out 200 and up.

Message: http://www.conceptconcept.com/product_detail.asp?Category=Amplifiers&ModelNo=CC-1002 sweet little amp..I heard this in the canadian distributors celica..very nice..it was push 1o's and it thumped.
Don't get burned by a cheap amp with a big rating. You're better off buying a lower rated HIgh quality amp compared to a 100000watt super duper special. I used to run a little Coustic amp 75x2 bridge and it pounded the crap outta my Rockford 10" in a sealed 1cubic ft box.
but R/T is right the biggest power(clean and quality) you can afford will make you happier
have fun
