 Subject: To much bass for mirror...

When the heat rises in my truck and I turn on my stereo the bass rattles the rear veiw mirror so much that i am looking at my lap. I know its the heat. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this. (It has nothing to do with the screw mount, it's the ball joint)

My bass was so bad on my quad that it disassembled the mirror. I mean totally fell apart!

Yeah WHen I first got my system my RVM fell right off the windshield and under my seat....but hey that's what the side ones are for. Knock those off the truck and I'll be impressed.

I use mirrors...
On a side note, does anyone here use their RVM more than the side mirrors to change lanes? I always seem to look through the RVM instead of the side mirrors to see if there's anyone to the side of me.

Yah, See what I do, Is I get one of them crowbars, and pry the doors open. sometimes that sets off the alarm... .if they even have one.

Yeah the car alarms are fun. I usually set off one or two whenever I start my truck in a parking lot. It's great.

hell i ahve broke 2 mirrors in half. I mean part of it just fell apart while the rest of it still stuck on the window. The first time the dealer replaced it but the second time he was like i think its not a defect. Do u know those damn mirrors cost 280$(night time mirror)

12th man, yeah i always check in my RVM to change lanes, with the exception of merging onto highway, brief check of side mirror.
