dose anyone know were i can get a box for mt 99 standard cab? i need a 12 inch bos that will fit behind the seat. ive looked around alot but they are all too big. i know a guy in my town who can build me a custome box but it would be easier to just buy one that will fit.

a 12 is pretty hard to get in a reg. cab if you want to use the seat. i had a ten behind my passenger seat and the passenger's knees would be 2 inches from the dash. I went to two eight, one behind each seat. i can now move both seats all the way back and they sound terrific. In a reg cab, with the right subs, two 8s will do you fine.

Dude take the middle seat out cut thoses brackets off and fabricate a box with an armrest ann hell a cupholder or two if you real actually use that thing anyways. I did one for my reg cab with 1 10" and 2 8" subs an arm rest and no cupholders though but like 6 switches to control all my light up goodies.

wait wait wait you cut the seat out but left the arm rest? is it a sealed box? how dose it sound? cuz i use my middle seat alot. but if i was to put some plexiglass over it and make it halfway comfortable it could still prolly be used as a seat. do you think it could fit 12s?

Well what i did was remove all the seats from tthe truck I turned over the passenger seat and unbolted or Cut off with a grinder whell the middle seat/councel. Then I fabricated a speaker box that holds 2 8" and 1 10" sub, and has a built on arm rest. It stretches from the back wall of the cab to the front of the dash, so there is no leg room for a passenger. If you want to put one or even two 12" subs in a box like mine, I don't really know how you could actually do this and still have a seat for the middle? If your creative enough you can probably get atleast 1 12" in there but you'd have to be real crafty to be able to have a seat as well.
