Getting a buzzing rattle noise from my passenger side door. Sounds as if something is loose. Has anyone else had this problem? IT's a 2000 CC R/T. Stock Speakers. Oh, and I already checked the speaker. That's not it. Thanks.

Depends on when your truck was built, sometimes on Friday afternoons the guys would hide there empty beer cans in the doors.

It could also be a wire harness from the speaker that came off. The door is pretty easy to take off so just check it out. Remove the screws, and lift up.

Actually I had the same problem with my 98 RC. The stock speakers were crappy I thought, so I just bought some 6 1/2 Kenwood's and installed them. I think my problem was the speaker brace, the speaker brace is that plastic circular thing that converts the neg. and pos. of a speaker into lines that your cd deck will understand,... on mine it was cracked and I just figured that was the prob., I went to my local Best Buy and bought another speaker brace, and installed it myself. I haven't heard it sense then, and that was months ago. If doing this doesn't fix the prob... take the truck to your local dodge dealer, and tell them to fix it, cause damn, might as well take advantage of that waranty(spelling?). You also might take off the door pannel and look inside the door if anything has broke off and is inside it and rattleing because of vibration. peace out

Thanx for the help guys. I took my door panel off this afternoon. It was a lot simpler than I had thought. The wire harness was not only loose but it was cracked as well. Looked like moisture had done a good job on it. But the problem has been fixed. Thanx to my local Best Buy. The truck is thumpin' again with no probs. Thanx again. L8ta!
