Subject: Fuse trouble IP: Logged
Message: I have an 2002 dakota, and when trying to install an aftermarket cd player all was working fine until one of the wires from my harness touched some metal and sparked. The cd player turned off and so did my dome lighting. I double checked all fuses in the main fuse box inside the cab, and all the fuses under the hood. Any solutions or ideas?

Message: Double check fuses.. sometimes its difficult to tell if they are blown or not... find the fuse that is for the dome light (look in the owner's manual)... replace it even if it looks ok.. Also, MY cd player has a fuse on the back of it (which is a Pain in the butt if it ever blows)... Check that...

Message: I say go buy all new fuses just to see if that is the problem. Shouldn't cost too much, and you'll have extras ready.
I blew the fuse when i was playing around with my horns, and my air conditioner and also the radio went with it i think. Definitely try replacing that fuse.
