Message: 3- 4 ohm subs will give you a real wierd load 1.3333 ohms wired in parallel. With this load and the rating on the subs you will need an amp that can deliver 1500Wrms at 1 ohm, bridged or mono. I doubt Best Buy will have an amp that can deliver at these spec's, but you might get lucky. Most of the amps at BB will probably run at 2 ohms stereo, 4 ohms bridged or 4 ohms mono.
You will need to get a high end amp that can push 1500W at 1 ohm so you can run these subs in a 1.3 ohm configuration. Or just run 2 of these subs and get 2 amps that can run 500Wrms into 4 ohms bridged or mono, BB will have amps like this.
Are you going to do some work on the electrical system of your truck to support these amps? I am only pushing about 500W through my 2 amps and the headlights will dim/blink while driving down the interstate if I am cranking the stereo, 03 4.7 QC.

Message: i have a 5.2. and just a cap to start. if i need another battery i will put 1 in...
now im debating between 4 10" fosgate p2's and 2 10" type r's. and lifting my truck. to my calculations, a lift is 1200$ for the 1 im looking at. 4 10" subs and the amps to run it on discount with be around 7-800$. leaving me money to do more to my motor. idk, what would you do and why?
btw: thanks for replying
