Would most amps you can buy fit under the front passenger seat? I am looking into buying an amp to go along with my new speakers and was jsut wondering if amps will fit under the seat. If so, anyone recommend a brand or type? or any specific amp? Thanks

I have 2002 Regular Cab. I dont have the money for subs right now, but hey, christmas is coming. I doubt i could fit much in my cab regarding subs anyway. So amps with less power is what i need to focus on? Do you have any recommendations?

i have a 98 with 1 12" sub behind the seat and the amp is mounted on the tranny hump...if you dont want that go with 1 10" behind either your seat or the passenger seat and mount the amp on the wall

i fit two amps and two subs in my reg. cab. i have an audiobahn "intake" 600T that is under my passenger seat (it fits perfectly, would reccommend it) powering my speakers. it is a 4 channel amp with 600 watts rms and 1200 max. i also have a power acoustik 1600 watt amp on the tranny hump underneath a custom console that powers two tens behind the seats. as far as subs go, i would really reccomend getting two good quality 8"s behind the seats because its almost impossible to get enough airspace for two tens without moving up the seats. i made the biggest box i possibly could without moving up the seats and my subs dont sound as good as they should because they need more airspace.

can't lose on 22s

If you want a lot of clean power, but get what you pay for (more
money that usual) look at Mmats amps, their new 2005 line. I just
got a 1500 watt RMS at 2 ohm mono amp for my 2 subs tha tfits
under my drivers seat... yeah.. believe that! haha... check them out

i mounted mine on the back panel right behind my console. it wouldn't fit under the seat and would've been inconvenient anywhere else. you can take the back panel out, mount it to it, and then stick it back in there, no problem. i always carry a small shirt or something to throw on my console to keep wannabe thugs from seeing it and getting ideas though. tinting the windows helps that too. i have a 03 reg cab, btw.

May sound like a lot of trouble but I love it, I have a 2002 CC and removed the rear side panels from both sides. there are some round and oval cut outs in the metal body the side panels push on to. I used A Sawzall and cut out a rectangle of metal just big enough to put an Amp inside the fender well area. Its a little trickey getting all the botls in and tight but with a little effort it will be solid, completly transparent from your cab. I have one amp one one side and the other ont the other side, Theres enough roo in htere to mount any size amp available.
