Subject: Speaker setup IP: Logged
Message: I have a 97 dakota cc and I'm getting some 12s to put in the back pretty soon. I was thinking about taking out the tool tray and the bottom(fold-up) cushion of the back seat and building the box so the speakers face the rear of the seats. I was considering putting the amp in the middle of the box somehow. Not sure if I want the speakers to face straight towards the front or angle them towards each other(each pointed towards the center). Any ideas will be appreciated.

Message: I would point them up. Pointing them to the center firing at each other will cause them to cancel the other one out. I have 4 kicker l7 12's facing up and its alot louder then facing them forward. Hope i helped?

Message: How would it sound if I put the "cones" inside the box with the magnets facing the back of the front seats?
