Message: I have talked to a few that have done it, your gonna have to cut out some sheet metal to mount em and make sure you get a "low profile" sub so you don't bottom out and hit the outside sheet metal w/ the magnet.
Ever think about putting a 10" in the tool tray? thats an option too.

Message: Sot sure how the 8s will sound. I talked to a custom audio guy prior to putting in my system. I wanted to put 6x9s there. The guy said that there is not enough volume back there to support the speakers. I would assume the same would be true about putting in 8s. The same is true about putting subs under the rear seat. They will not sound as good as a good pair of quality subs in a box sitting on the rear seat.

Message: I have two Audiobahn 10's in the MTX Thunderform box with a 1200 watt Directed Audio amp behind them. That'll rock the whole truck. Bass is not the problem. The problem is when the subs and the 6 3/4's that I have in the back try to hit some mid-range, it sounds distorted. I have Sony Xplod 6 3/4's in the front and back. I just have the stock amp pushing them. If I amped them (which I plan on doing anyway) would that fix my problem?
