i recently installed a 12" pyle elite sub driver and built a custom enclosure to replace my center console. i mounted it firing up....would it sound better firing down>?

Flip it over and downfire it. Leave at least 2 inches of space between the speaker and floor. No one will be able to tell where the sound is coming from and it will sound 100% better.
