 Subject: someone please help

while installing a new cd player my brother didnt disconect the battery and touched the constant power wire (yellow) to bare metal and shorted something out. now my stock nor new radio doesnt work and my cab lights doesnt work as well, i checked fuses under the hood but all look fine. is there another fuse box anywhere else or what?
someone please clue me in.

what year? my '00 has another fuse box in the end of the driver's side dash.

My '03 has fuses at the end of the drivers dash as well. THAT is where the radio fuses will be.
Now the red wire to the radio would only be powered when the key is on, and that would probably be labeled as the radio
The cont power wire (yellow maybe) may be on something not even labeled as the radio. Maybe the same as the cig lighter, etc.
But I'm SURE you can just look and the blown fuse will be in the fuse box inside the cab.
No big deal.

yep. ^^what he said. i can't remember exactly what the yellow wire is but if the cab lights went with it, it probably is cig lighter.
