i have a 2005 club cab dakota, i have a head unit from my last truck i wanna put in, i bought a harness adapter so as not to cut the stock harness but the wires dont match up... i was wondering if anyone could tell me what each of the wires on the truck's stereo harness are, like what wires are power, +- for which speakers etc. any info you can give me would be awesome thanks!

Don't match in what way? Color? that's normal, the aftermarket has a "standard" color coding that the OEMs never follow.

but just in case, you'll find a pinout here.

look at "radio connector C1." It's the same for Grand Cherokee and Dakota.
