2 questions...

I heard the JL Audio Stealthboxes for the Durango will also work for the Gen 3 Dakotas with the 40/20/40 split bench seats. Is that true?

Also...does anyone know where I can purchase one online as the nearest authorized JL Audio dealer is about an hour away from here? Oh yeah...if anyone knows what they cost, I'd be interested in knowing that as well.

Thanks!

I don't think that JL Audio allows any of their products to be sold online (at least that is what it says on their website). As for the price, the dealer here in El Paso tells me they run about $450.00 with the 8" subwoofer included.

P.S. the box I am talking about is for the club cab, not the quad cab, after I posted I reread your message. Oh well hope it helps anyway :)

lol...thanks for the reply. Already got myself a sub setup now. Running 2 downfiring Elemental Designs Eu-700's (6 1/2" subs) with an Elemental Designs NINe.2 amp (400w bridged if I remember correctly).

Yeah, .5cF box measuring um.... 22"Lx9.5"Wx10"H. They sound pretty good in my RC. Don't hit super hard, but the lower frequencies sound AWESOME and they do exactly what I wanted which was simply to give me an improvement in the amount of bass.

And if you're into rap...they can still hit plenty hard.

http://www.blackshireserver.net/videos/EU-700s.wmv that's a video (only meant for the sound...there's nothing to see except the brakelights of the Durango driving by that almost hit me) of them with me standing OUTSIDE with the windows up and doors closed. I couldn't get a video to turn out right inside the truck...the pressure from the subs made the sound all distorted when played back.

Here's a pic of em in my Dak...

Yeah...the box is blue and the rest of my interior is gray or whatever...but I liked the material and they didn't have any in black. Plus it was cheap...lol
