Subject: Infinity Basslink + Stock Radio IP: Logged
Message: Hello,
I recently purchased an Infinity Basslink X. Is it possible to hook it up to the stock radio? I have a 2000 Dakota Quad Cab. I am new to the whole audio thing in cars. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Nick-

Message: I know I have to splice into my speaker wire, all four of them actuallly. The thing I dont know is, what wire to I splice into on my stock Radio/CD Player. Other than that, its pretty easy.
Thanks,

Message: Is it possible to just buy an adapter? Instead of splicing the Basslink wire into the stock Radio/CD Player wire ?
Thanks,

Message: Check out the instruction manual. I remember reading that all you do is hook up the speaker wires (tapping off existing ones), power and ground. The unit will turn on when it senses voltage from the speaker inputs.
