Subject: removing rear seats IP: Logged
Message: I have a 95 dakota slt. It has the fold down rear seats. I cannot figure out how to remove them. I can get the actual seat off, but not the brackets. Do any of you know how I can do this? Thanks!

Message: You have to remove the seat backs then you will find that the brackets are on studs on the rear wall, but the studs come off too,

Message: There are two panels to remove before you can access the bolts to the back seats.
First, The top panel should just pull off. It's got eight of those ribbed plastic tack thingys that press into holes.
Then the lower panel is held on with four screws. Remove the screws, then pull the screw tabs out just a little while pushing downward on the panel to release three catch clips.
With both panels removed, you should be able to access the seat bolts. Hope this helped and good luck!
