Message: Not too bad of a procedure. Remove the panel with the emerge brake on it below the steering wheel. It has three torx screws. then pop it off toward you. get a stubby philips for the two screws above the guages, and remove them. Now the tricky part. start poping the trim panel off at the left side, and work toward the right. be sure to remove the wiring harnesses from your instruments. should be heater, 4X4 switch, airbag, and lights. Careful, there are red retaining clips for the harnesses. Remove them first before trying to pry off the harnesses. Just shimmy shimmy the panel out from behind the steering wheel, starting with the top. It's a tight fit, so be patient. You will need to buy an installation kit and a wiring kit to make things easier. That antenna is a pain to hook back up aswell. GOOD LUCK!

Message: you will also need an antenna adaptor. i recently did a full custom install of head unit, amp, sub, and new door speakers. a company i found on the web called american international had all of the install kits, and wiring adaptors that fit like factory. around 50 bucks for all of the components from them.

Message: No antenna adapter needed if you're buying the "audio in" adapter... as far as I know. You're simply using the CD changer controls to bring your "other" audio source into the factory deck.

Message: No Nick, the stereo removal is different.
All you have to do is pull out the black bezel. It's held in place with clips. Once removed the stereo is held in place with 2 10mm bolts.

Message: Nick,
The bezel is the surrounding piece of plastic overlay that encompasses the radio and the heat/ac controls. Just pull on it from one of the sides. It should pop out with a light amount of effort. It is held in there with retaining clips so it will feel like your almost bending it before it finally gives way. You should lower your steering column all the way because you will need to pry it away from the wheel. You will also need to slip your hand inside the release the electrical clips that connect to your HVAC and your headlight switch. Pay close attention to the removal of the bezel around the steering wheel because you can easily scratch the dashboard cluster. It sounds much more difficult than it is, and in reality it can be done more quickly than it took me to type this to you. Its one of the more easier dashboards to take apart. Its almost to easy to do.

Message: the power wire comes with the amp wiring kit it is red or yellow and the remote wire can eather hook up to the head unit or you can put it directly to the fuse panel and hook it to the radio fuse and it will turn the amp off when the power is off but if your head unit is off it will still be on
