I give up! Have had 2 custom stereos stolen in five months. Wish I had keep my original stereo unit. I have a '99 dakota clubcab. If anyone is looking to get rid of their stock unit. I am interested! PLease spare me the having a alarm system, basic common sense stuff about thief prevention. I did and got all that and it still didnt work. Damn I hate California!!Thanks

That's precicely why I'm not upgrading my head unit. Thugs see a high end unit in the dash, say goodbye to it. Removable faceplate or not, it's gone.
