Hi,
I have an Alpine HU 9811 powering two Alpine Type-s 170A speakers in the rear and a Rockford Fosgate 250 watt 2 channel amp powering the front Type-S component speakers. At higher volumes it seems like there is a lot of noise coming from the tweeters, i have the setting at -6db but it still seems to make a lot of noise, the gain on the amp is about 3/4 of the way turned up. How could i adjust this, is it normal? on a side note, would this same amp have enough power to work with the mtx thunderform box + subs, or would that even be beneficial?
