what are you trying to do with the system???
SPL?? quality? Simple upgrade?

What I did for my RC was made new kicker pods to fit 5 1/2 comp, replace the door speakers with 6 1/2 mid bass drivers, and I made a box to fit 2 12" Orion N/T. The box is juuuuuuust shy of 3 cubic feet(2.91). I choosed the N/T for the massive wattage in a shallow depth ratio but good luck tryin to find a set. I don't think they make them anymore. Once again it really depends on what youre trying to shoot for.
For amps, I got 2 sony amps (for like nothin!) Both are 2000 series, one is a 1200w and the other is ....... um........ I really don't know. The other is a 5 channel with a built in eq sittin on top. Works for mids and highs. I got those mounted in the bed of the truck with a 1 faret dig cap between the two. The truck came with a fiberglass LOCKING bed cover so no worries there.
Head unit is a Clarion DRX9375R. Its really old but still seems to do what its suppose to do.
Finally I have a 6 disc cd changer and a in-dash X-over mounted in the glove box

Does that help with any ideas for you???
