 Subject: Sub Box For center console

i have a 98 4x4 reg cab, i was wondering if anyone has built a sub box for an 8" sub inside of the center console ( underneith the console )? i want to have full function of the center seat and i also want a sub box, i have considered a box behind the seat, but i need all of the room i can get ( i am 6'6"). any sugestions would be of great use. i am very good a building custom boxes but i would like to know if anyone has tried this yet?

i have a 2001 reg cab and i took out the middle seat. and put two 8 subs in a custom box. then mounted the fold down console on the box, and you cant even tell that i have subs in there. in a reg cab dak, there is no such thing as a middle seat for us bigger guys. hope this helps

i thought about doing this...does the middle seat not vibrate? i didn't go through with it becuase i was scared it would sound bad?

only if you keep a lot of small stuff in your console does it vibrate. If you have it up loud enough you dont hear it any way.
