 Subject: Subs With Stock infinity radio

I have a thunderform box on the way and i would like to hook it up while still useing the stock radio if possible. I have the infinity radio in my 2000 dakota club cab. I have heard of an adapter that you put betweent the stock radio and the stock harness that has rca preouts but i can not find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

I am running the same setup you are wanting. I think its called a line level converter, I got one from Wal-Mart. You splice the wires going to your speakers and it converts to RCA outputs.

You will also have to get something,,,it is called a polarity reverser or something like that,,,it is a box looking shape and it will hook into ur harness so you wont overload your stock speakers or your stock cd player. I am not too sure where to get one,,but i have heard that is what you need to do for safety when hooking up to a stock cd player.
