Message: Keith, I have the sub box that goes under the rear jumper seat. yes it is expensive, but in my opinion it is well worth it. When it is all said and done, you still have your seat and it is fully functional all the way across. You even end up keeping your jack storage. Now remember, with an 8" you will have decent base but do not expect the sound that will come from a 10 or 12" sub.

Message: I have a Kicker S8L7 in a Q-logic box behind the seat of my Quad-cab. It is definitely a good improvement over not having a sub at all. I do think my old 10" Infinity had a bit better SQ then this 8, but given the QC limitations, the L7 will stay.
