Message: Anyone in here have a single 10inch in a reg cab?? I was thinking about doing that with it facing the back of the seat and was just wondering if the acoustics were alright with that.
I'm used to having 1 15inch sub in a car and didn't know if a single 10 could fill up a small sized cab decent or not. I know you wouldn't do just 1 10in in the trunk of a car!!!
alright, thanks!

Message: i got two tens, one behind each seat. it's not hard to fit tens in a reg cab, and i only lost a few clicks of seat space. im 6'1" and it doesn't bother me at all, and they sound good so i'll live with it. if you put just one, then i would pop it behind the passenger seat so you keep all movement of your seat. you'll have to cut out the jack stand under the carpet and probably trim the hard shell carpet that covers it. you can go for a single 12" if you want, not much difference except maybe a little more mounting depth depending on what you get, and watch the airspace requirements. but if you're good at building boxes you can make it work,or just get it done custom. it'll be fine facing the back of the seat. it won't be a 15, but in a reg cab it'll probably sound good enough for you. just be sure to measure and know what'll fit beforehand. good luck with it.
