Message: if you have to, just do a blowthrough, unless you don't like the idea of cutting into the truck. in that case you can fit a few inside the cab, like under the seats or something i guess, some of the qc guys can help you more than me (reg cab). but if you just put some in the bed and they aren't connected somehow inside the cab, then it's just going to sound like the guy behind you is hitting, and it probably won't sound good unless you're out there with it.

Message: I guess the important question is,,, how many and what size? You can put a sub or subs in a QC you just need to get creative. Search this site, people have put 8's an 10's behind the rear seats and there is also the tranny hump box option. I put a 12" sub enclosure on the tranny hump between the front and rear seats, it takes up some rear seat leg room, but I never have anyone in the back middle anyway.
I would rather get creative with box design than with a Sawzall ;-)

Message: I think there are custom made boxes for the club cab. Probably either thunderform or Qlogic makes them. It might take some of your space, but whats more important, your passengers comfort or your radio. Just remember one thing: how often do YOU ever ride in the back, so comfort is not an issue for you...hehe

Message: Don't put subs in your bed. They sound like crap and youll get ticketed for noise voilation all the time. Go ahead and put em in the bed if you want some tickets!

Message: Actually you can build a box inside your bed to hold subs and make it sound good. Just think of how a bandpass box works. just make the port open into your cab.

Message: I've known MANY ppl use a snug top on the rear and hav systems that POUNDED like no tomarrow. I've never been into the "club" thing either, so I'm definitely NOT biased towards that kind of thing. But I DO love bass with my music, and have a 10" RF in my QC behind the rear seat. Soon to add a second 10" RF behind the OTHER rear seat.
I've cut out sections of carpet and foam under my seats (which SEEMD to sit right on the floor) and got enough room for two large amps and a inverter.
No need to post it all here, but I've posted my PICTURES in some threads in here. just look for my posts. Some people also check out my website where my mods are all posted. pictures speak 1000 words.
