Hello all,
i am selling the box that i had custom built for
my dakota. I have a 2001 QC. The box is
made to fit over the hump in the rear directly
behind the middle console in the front seat. It
houses a 10" kicker comp vr currently. I will
only be selling the box. It is carpeted to match
the interior of the car. Its extremely well built.
I can send pictures and additional information
upon request.

85% of the people on this board can build their own box to custom fit, but hell for only $500 to save time on cutting, sealing and carpeting some plywood ... what the hell!

I would never try and sell it for 500!! Ebay has a free buy it now if u tack it at 500 or more right now. so what the heck i did it. It actually is custom made dumb fu*k so shove it. I made it not to long ago. I think it is worth around 100 so thats what i made the price for. this thread is not for posers like yourselfes to hate. Its a thread designed for me to sell a quality piece of equipment!

The buy it now price should have been for $100 then! so what, you pay an extra .15 cents to list the buy it now for $100 rather than an outrageous $500.

I almost built a box behind the console like that when I first got my Dak.
But with some imagination I've had my 10" Rockford Fozgate P2 behind my right rear seat for well over a year.
It works pretty damn good for only one sub. But these RF subs have 2 inch excusrion where standard subs only have 1 inch of excursion.
I'm tempted to try a second one behind my drivers side rear seat.
That's all you see when you look in my back seat.

If I were you guys, I'd squeeze a sub behind the seat. It's nicer than having a visable box out in the open.
Oh yeah. The box I use now I bought from some "flee market" type of sale my bro in law took me to. I think I spent like $20 on it :P
The sub cost around $150 though.

Yeah. Having stuff in the open bothers me.
My amps and sub are hidden. most people would think I didn't have anything.
But my touch screen monitor is visable as it doesn't come off easily like a removable face stereo does.
That's why one of my future mods is a "self defense system". I've got the hidden tubes and nozzles installed and need to make a storage tank to hold the "gas" (well 'liquid" in the tank). Also got to build the control as well to be FOOLPROOF as to not kill the DRIVER (me) :P
