my lil sis wants to install an amp in her 98 cc. she wants the mtx thunderform, so under the rear seat wont be an option. the amp she has may or may not fit under the front seats. it looks like it may fit on the transmission tunnel between the front seats. she could then make a cover for it, so thieves wont be tempted. anyone tried putting an amp there?

I have seen posts on here saying to cut out a piece of the passenger side carpet under the seat.Amp should fit just right.
