Subject: sealed or ported? IP: Logged
Message: I bought two 10" subs with flat magnets to put behind the seat of a reg cab. I'm building two separate wedge boxes and putting the amp in the middle. The boxes will be 15" high, 12" wide, 2" deep at the top, and 8" deep at the bottom. Since the dimensions of the box are so small, I was wondering if it would benefit me to port them at all or if I should just leave them sealed. thanks for any help.

I'll take "Useless Generalizations" for $600, Alex.
They're only boomy if the enclosure's too small.

Message: ken,
with those dimensions, do you have to move your seat forward at all? i'm thinking about putting a couple of 10s in the back of my regular cab, but my biggest concern is space.
