Subject: Lanzar VB6.1 Component Set
IP: Logged

Message:
Any opinions on a Lanzar VB6.1 Component Set? They're available on eBay for $59.00 plus shipping. I have a 2000 QC with the Infinity upgrade, and both front door lower speakers are blown. I'm not looking to spend alot on replacements, just something better then stock that will sound decent.

At the same time I swap out the fronts, I'm going to go ahead and swap out the 2 rear door speakers. Maybe this isn't really needed, but just seems that keeping all 4 speakers at 4ohm has got to be better then a pair at 4 and the second at 2. Lanzar has several inexpensive 6-1/2 coaxials that would work.

Guess I'm just trying to find out if Lanzar is complete junk or decent.

Intelligent replies are appreciated.

Thanks...

well, since no one else has replied, i have not had any experiances with their speakers but their amps have a pretty bad rep, and for good reason considering i saw one rated at like 800 watts RMS test at 370 watts :-/. i believe i heard bad things about their subs having chincy voice coils too.
