Subject: 12's in a Thunderform IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone out there been able to put 2 12's in a Thunderform? I have never actually seen one in person so I don't know if it's workable. And about the airspace that you need for 12's, I would probably just fill it with polyfill to slow down the soundwaves. I have 2 12" Bazooka's that I love from my old Cherokee and I don't want to get rid of them so I am looking for some alternatives.

Message: Will the 10" 8000 series fit instead of the 10" 6000s that come in the Thunderform?

Message: The 8000 has a huge magnet, and it will more then likely not fit.
If you are considering going balls to the wall with subwoofer upgrades then you may just want to forget about the thunderform and go with a custom box. The 6000 series do the job fine, and they will get up there in SPL.

Message: The MTX 8000's will NOT fit in the T-form. I've tried. Would take some serious modifications to the box to make them fit.
