Subject: Amp Problem IP: Logged
Message: I have been using my amp to power 2 12's for almost 6 monthes now and it has had no problems. Yesterday i was driving to the beach, listening to the radio at a fairly high level, about 75% up (not unusual, but it has taken it for quite some time now) and all of a sudden it turned off. The little light on the side turned from green to red, indicating "stress on the system" i think it was called. Anyways, it will play fine at lower volumes (up to about 3/5 volume) but anything after that it cuts off shining that wonderful red light. I checked all the fuses on the amp itself, and the one on the main power wire next to the battery. I don't know what else to do, its it burned up? BTW, it was only a little warm when it shut off, barely enough to be felt. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Message: well, i took everything out, looked at it all, it all looked fine, put it all back in and waaalaa, it worked. I gave the set-up a good workout to make sure it didn't do it again. I still don't know why it stopped working, probably just something a little loose, o well, back to normal!
