Subject: Reaplacement Radio IP: Logged
Message: Recently I attempted to replace my original radio from my 96' Dakota. I hooked up the new radio according to the instructions, and to my expectation it didn't work. So I then decided to put the original back in. I put it in exactly the way I found it, and now it doesn't work either. Can anyone offer any help?

There's a clue there...
Okay, I'll give you the answer- the radio has two fused feeds. One is labeled "RADIO" and is the key-on feed. The other (battery) feed is shared with the interior lamp circuit. Replace the other blown fuse and you should get both your radio and lights back.
