What is the factory speaker size for a 98 dakota? both front and rear. I'm finding mixed information.. (is it 6.5" front 5.25" in rear?)

I can say for a regular cab:
fronts:
6.75", though with screw hold alignments it's best to go with 6.5" & mounting brackets which are found all over the place.
Rears:
odd-ball. If I remember correctly, they're 5.5" diameter, 5.75" distance on the two screw holes. In the rear, absolutely no 5.25" speakers are an easy fit, they will all need a custom mounting bracket & need to cut away at some of the plastic. In the rear, best to just stick to 4" & there's adapters for them which should fit nicely. 5.25" speakers in the rear are just not worth all the hassles.
