Subject: good sounding speakers cc r/t IP: Logged
Message: hey im not too smart when it comes to speakers, but im replacing my front door components and rear speakers of my club cab and i was wondering what you guys thought about polk or alpine 6-1/2" components for the front and the same brand for the rear but just the speaker. anyone have these or how do they sound? i was looking to spend about 300 for speakers so if anyone could help me out, i would appreciate it

Message: Choose the Polks, more musical (typicaly) You will probably need to spend a bit more than 300 to do all four corners, but maybe not. Good luck. The Alpines are not my fav., used to be an installer in the 90's, and there was some real CRAP coming from them back then, the price was right, but they seemed to flood the market with just plain junk. Just my op.
