Subject: Infinity Basslink T in 2000 QC IP: Logged
Message: would anyone happen to know if an infinity basslink T (1-10" sub, 2-10" radiators) would fit behind the back seat of my truck. I love bass, but dont have too much room for it in there. also, is there a way to fold the backrests in the back seat down? ive only been able to fold the seat bottom up.

Message: When I was looking and measuring the Basslink would not fit behind the rear seats. It is too deep at the top.
No the seatbacks are fixed to the back wall of the cab.

Message: I placed an 8" Kicker S8L7 behind the driver's side rear seat. Dont worry about it being 8", it sounds like a 12, trust me. It's 450 RMS, so the power is there too.
The installation is moderatley difficult, and you will be working with extremely limited dimensions. This setup will work well tho, i promise..... I'm 18 now. If I can do it, you can too.
Just search for an earlier post about QC subs or soemthing, and i left a LONGGGG post with descriptions on the installation.
Just ask is you have any questions.

I did somewhat like Alec did, only a bit easier. I have a Kicker S8L7 in a Q-logic truck box (QLT-.3508 I think). You'll need to cut the box to fit the square Kicker, but other then that it will drop right behind the driver's side rear seat.
If you go this route, I thought it was easier to remove just the seat back, and not the entire seat. A Torx bolt on each side, and the back lifts straight up.
Thunderform also makes a box that will fit behind the driver's side seat that fits a 10", but it's much more expensive.
Also lots of options if you want to make a box to fit the passenger side rear, or between the console and the rear seat. Both were too expensive for me, and my woodworking skills and tools are sub-standard...
