4 ohm L5 10's. which one would u guys pick? not very familiar with many 1 ohm amps and im not payin a grand for a us amps

you dont have to run them down to 1ohm why not run em at 4ohm, yould have alot more options of amps that way...

whats the number on that memphis blkquad? a power reference or ? im not runnin a 4 ohm load matt e cuz i ordered a box from stealthbox.com a fiberglass one that goes under backseat of club cab. it has an amp rack 20' x 10.5'. i need a small amp that packs a wallop and to push those L5 subs hard it would take a huge azz amp runnin at 4 ohms. c my dilemma.

SQdak that diamond is gonna be too wide for the amp tray but thanks for your input. i should have provided those dimensions earlier. i really am dead set on a memphis or crossfire, i just dont know how well either hold up under a 1ohm load. both are pretty reputable? u run urs at 1 blkquad???

well just ordered the memphis mc1000d. 1100 watts
1 ohm stable. hope it doesnt kick my kickers out my box. dudes that has got 2 be 1 of the smallest amps i have ever seen for those numbers

i used to have a 600d crossfrire on 2 8l7's would be fine on a pair of 10l5's
another crossfire choice would be a good one but hard to find, when they were still white they made a 30hc it is a high current rated at 30w but atcually did a lil over 600 i had a cfa602 and got rid of it for that and ran 2 l712's (1st square series, now l5) and was hittin 153's at the dash... that amp was amazing for only being 600w
understandable about us and alpine i love em both but they are pricey....
ild go w/the memphis my buddie has one and they are def. tiny, make sure you put a fan in there though if you are covering it in plexi...
ok must quit ramblin...

matt e, that memphis i just ordered is 13in long and 6.5 inches wide man. thats very small for an amp of that power! i love alpine. ive never had nothin but alpine cd players. but that amp was the size of a coffee table. im not using any plexiglass so it shoul be ok. i heard they run pretty cool. dude i used 2 have some old school crossfire 12's and a rockwood amp in a 92 ford taurus when i was 16.(22 now) but ne way they hammered man. we hooked every guys amp in auto shop and ag class and could not blow them! i sold them 2 some black dude that 2 this day has them in his car!

todd, is that the old 200 or the newer ones
i know the old 400 are the same as the new 2000x
so is the one you have 1000 or just 200

BX1000D... hifonics makes it, best bang for the buck. 1000rmsx1 at 1 ohm.. im runnin two L5 10s with one... they slam in a sealed box..
