 Subject: blow through?

i am planning a blow through on my 87 dak...
i have a few question..
1. will i loose any structural integrity?
2. where can i get a boot to seal the cab to the bed?
3. whats the best way to mount the box to the bed to keep if from being stolen?
any other advice?

1: yes, but if you weld in some 1" square stock around the hole, it'll end up stronger than stock.
2:any place that sells caps should have...check the phone book for truck accessory and RV shops.
3: a couple of L brackets and some bolts are probably your best bet. buy a tonneau from the place you get boot while you're there :)

alright thanks...
- i figured frame the cut out with some sorta tubing.
- ok
- ive got a tonneau now, but its a roll up. i plan on replacing it eventually with a fiberglass one.
ooh, do you know where i can find some good pics of this? i cant decide how i want to do my amp rack and how big of a blow through to do.
